UFC heavyweight contender Fabricio Werdum has reported that his next fight will probably be in October at UFC 90, where he's likely meet UFC newcomer Junior "Cigano" dos Santos.
In an interview with the Brazilian site Tatame, Werdum said he recently signed a new, five-fight contract with the UFC, where he'll get a shot at the title if he is able to win his next fight .
UFC 90 takes place Oct. 25 at Allstate Arena just outside Chicago. Werdum said his opponent for the event is not official but that it will "probably" be Cigano.
"I wanna be the UFC heavyweight champion," Werdum told Tatame. "A final (fight) against "Minotauro" would be like a dream. It would be great for me because I fought against him [in] PRIDE, and it was a great fight. He deserved the victory."
