Undefeated light heavyweight contenders Lyoto Machida and Thiago Silva will finally meet at UFC 94 after their original fight, which was scheduled for UFC 89, failed to take place due to a back injury sustained by Thiago Silva. UFC President Dana White confirmed the news this past Saturday.
The event takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The Machida-Silva could be the night's co-main event to the headline bout between UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and UFC lightweight champion B.J. Penn.
